entry no. 1

well, this was a long time coming, wasn’t it? i made this blog at the end of 2024 when i was on winter break from school, and that’s about as far as i got. thankfully, i was smart enough to make a google doc of different topics i want to write about. also thankfully, i wrote down my mini-reviews of books because i knew i’d come back to eventually post them (spoiler: i did, go check those out). i’m not completely sure what made me decide to create a blog. i love to write, i love to talk (most of the time), and i have a lot of opinions, so the culmination of those landed me here. i guess it landed you here too.

anyways, hi. i’m addison. nice to meet you. if you read my little blurb about myself under the main page, i suppose you know a little bit about me. if you didn’t, that’s okay too. let me introduce myself: i’m 23 years old (currently)…(duh), i’m a gemini, i have a lot wrong with me (it’s okay though, it makes me funny), and i apparently write online journal entries for the little people who live in my computer to read when they get bored. hello little people in my computer. i have an interest in a lot of things:

• i love to read, obviously; 
• i love rewatching the same 7-10 shows over and over again; 
• i have very slowly been acquiring the knowledge and skills to call myself a practicing witch over the last, i don’t know, 6 years, but we’re getting there; 
• with that last fun fact, i am very into tarot and oracle readings; 
• i love cooking and baking;
• i have a variety of medical issues;
• i’ve had some life experiences that were not the kindest to me, but we can get into all of that later

overall, i made this blog for me. to help me work through and make sense of things, to hopefully find others like me, and just to talk. my story deserves to be heard.
